For a hot second, the U.S. administration ended the Global Entry program, but then it reopened. It's a nightmare to try to schedule an appointment at an airport months in advance; instead, fill out the application before you fly international, and upon arrival back to the U.S., do the interview to get Global Entry.

This one I’ve actually used a few times & it’s worked. Be sure to check the additional fees after the deal; sometimes that can drive the price higher than you were initially hoping. Also, there’s a level system; you get better deals if you’ve actually used the app before.
